Saban Films announced today that they have secured the U.S. and Canadian rights to award-winning director and writer Matthew Gentile’s debut feature film American Murderer. The film stars Tom Pelphrey, Ryan Phillippe, Idina Menzel, and Jacki Weaver.  Paul Schneider, Shantel VanSanten, Moises Arias and Kevin Corrigan round out the cast.  Saban Films is planning an October 2022 release. The pic stars Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace) and Don Johnson (Miami Vice). It takes place over a single night and follows Ana (Kurylenko), a meticulous chef with a hidden past, and her husband Ray (Johnson), a schmoozy serial restaurateur. SXSW Thriller will be Slated for Theatrical Release LOS ANGELES (May 15, 2019) – Saban Films has acquired North American rights to Adam Randall’s (iBoy, Level Up) thriller I See You, which made its World Premiere at the SXSW Film Festival earlier this year.
