John Travolta Action Movie American Metal Acquired By Saban Films
A new action-thriller starring John Travolta is on the way, courtesy of Saban Films. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the studio has picked up the American Travolta Metal-led film for worldwide distribution in the Cannes market. The film also stars Stephen Dorff ( Lame ), Shiloh Fernández ( Evil Dead ), Ashley Benson ( Pretty Little Liars ), and Kevin Dillon ( Entourage ).
Nicholas Maggio is the writer and director, marking his feature debut. It is produced by Corey Large and Bernie Gewissler of 308 Entertainment in association with Bondit Media Capital. The filmmakers are planning a 2023 release now that the film has their backing.
